DR. BRANDIE MEDINA
Founder & CEO
Dr. Brandie Medina is an accomplished educational leader, literacy advocate, and nonprofit founder dedicated to ensuring every child has the opportunity to become a confident, successful reader. With more than two decades of experience in education, she has devoted her career to improving student outcomes, supporting educators, and empowering families through evidence-based literacy practices.
As Founder and CEO of Fluency Fuel, Dr. Medina leads a nonprofit committed to advancing literacy through reading intervention, dyslexia awareness, family engagement, educator collaboration, and equitable access to educational resources. Her expertise spans literacy instruction, special education, dyslexia support, instructional leadership, and professional learning for educators.

WHY FLUENCY FUEL EXISTS
Fluency Fuel was born from a simple truth: too many bright children reach classrooms every day feeling defeated by reading. Behind every struggling reader is a story — of a learning difference, of a missing resource, of a family searching for answers.
We started Fluency Fuel to close that gap. By putting books in hands, training in classrooms, and knowledge into homes, we help children rewrite their reading story — and open the door to every future waiting on the other side.
